  Went to this bank or credit union rather in order to cash a check a client had given me. The check was made out to "cash". The tell er that was helping me asked many questions, for an ID phone number, etc. When the Teller explained to me that they were going to charge me a four dollar charge to cash the check, it made me upset. It did not make sense to me that the check which was made out to "cash" would have a four dollar fee tied to it. I asked why and the only answer I could get is because every other bank charges a fee. I had all three tellers inside this empty credit union defending the four dollar charge. I finally just agreed to the charge. After agreeing to the charge, it took about another 15 min. of waiting until finally the Teller explained to me that they were not going to cash the check I was given. The teller explained to me, "there are some things that do not match". That was all of the explanation that I received. I believe that they had judged me from the minute I walked in the door because of all of my tattoos. I have never felt so discriminated against in Denver before. I would never bank here and will not accept checks from this credit union.
