  • I went on the Epic Patagonia trip with my whole family and had an absolute blast! One Seed did an amazing job with all the logisitics involved (and there were a lot - flights, buses, lodging, meals, etc). And our guides (Sergio and Jorge) were the best. They made the trip fun, and were very knowledgeable about the region. I loved the trip and would recommend it to anyone who even likes hiking a little bit. The hiking was not too strenuous and it was certainly worth it - take a look at the photos on the One Seed website (which are incredible, but don't quite do justice to the real thing).

This place is where dreams go to die. I went here for a quality education and all I got were liberal art kids and furries. I wish that I could have gone to Kennedy, tbh. But you should see our thicc principal, 10/10 would hit.

  • I moved in July 2017 and I'm actually really happy with my decision. Yes, it's an old building with occasional problems. Yes, they are renovating (hence the $400 rent deduction). And yeah, we only had a one elevator for about three months. But hey, no better way to get in (somewhat) shape by taking the stairs. What makes this place special is the awesome level of service you receive at the front office. First of all, they work earlier and later than I do (usually around 8am-7pm). The girls at the front are particularly great at finding time to address any and all problems, no matter how busy they are. I've come running in as they were closing with maintenance issues they've addressed quickly and professionally. I wanted to add garage parking halfway through my lease. No problem. Ashley C even stayed at my apartment while I went to work to calm my super anxious dog while the construction crew was painting the balcony. If you're an obsessive dog owner like me, you know how thoughtful that was. Bottom line: Cap Hill is expensive, and old buildings come with their quirks. But for the location, quality, amenities, (the gym is better than most you pay for), and the level of customer service provided, this place is a steal. Also dogs. If you love dogs, move here. You'll make so many dog and dog parent friends. It's awesome. Shout out to Ashley C (and Luna, of course) for being super great and immensely helpful with everything apartment related and putting up with my paranoid dog barking at the construction crew. Girl deserves a raise just for tolerating that little menace. It's definitely appreciated. :)

  • I have been with Aspen for over 20 years and they have always been there for me. I have multiple policies through them and they have always found the best rate that suits my needs. I have never had a claim but recently I've had 2. The first was for hail damage, which the major carrier paid but then proceeded to double my rates. Go figure, I don't recall making it hail on my car. Aspen was able to move my insurance to another major carrier and save me a few bucks a month as well. The second was a collision claim on icy roads that both insurance companies deemed 50-50 fault, so neither party was at fault in other words. My new carrier didn't want to pay the claim for some reason. I thought that was what full coverage was intended for. I talked with Cindy at Aspen and she contacted the carrier and the claim was paid. Some people like to deal directly with insurance carriers but if you have a problem it's nice to have an actual agent that is working for you, and not the agent that's working for the corporate carriers best interests.
